And that's just buying the parts all in one shot, it's even cheaper if you're patient and just grab a deal when you can. Could EASILY shave another couple hundred bucks or more off that custom build.

I mean, I prefer building my own pc because I know how to and is generally cheaper than buying prebuilt. My current rig is currently worth about $1300 atm, but will be getting upgrades asap.
