Because the truth is, most families aren’t doing anything wrong. It’s just that life is expensive now. And when kids come along, everything shifts. Your time changes. Your priorities change. What matters most changes. For me, maternity leave really opened my eyes. I realised I didn’t want my only option to be going back to work full time and missing so much of my baby growing up… just to keep up with bills and childcare. So I started learning about ways to earn from home. Something flexible. Something that could actually fit around mum life. Nap times. Evenings on the sofa. Not a quick fix.
