HEALTHIER BIG MAC 🍔  If you want a Big Mac but you need it to be a little bit healthier and higher in protein, then this recipe is for you! Save for later ☝🏼 •452 kcals •40g PRO, 41g CHO, 15g FAT Serves 1: -120g of lean mince (less than 5% fat) -1/2 tsp each of oregano & garlic powder -Salt/pepper -1 burger bun (slice the top bun to make 3 buns) -2 slices of light burger cheese -Shredded lettuce -Red onion, sliced finely Sauce: -20g of reduced sugar ketchup -15g of light mayonnaise  -1 tap of mustard -1/2 tsp of garlic powder -Pickles, chopped finely (from a jar) Method: 1. Season the mince with the oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Use your hand to break down the mince and  roll into two balls. 2. Place the mince balls on baking paper and then spread another sheet of baking paper over them. Use the bottom of a glass to flatten them down until they are really thin patties. 3. Spray a pan with oil and fry the patties on either side for approx. 5 mins. Turn off the heat and add the cheese to the patties. Let it melt. 4. Mix all of the sauce ingredients together. 5. Slice the top part of the burger bun in half to make a third bun (do this carefully). 6. Assemble the burger with sauce on the bottom bun, lettuce, red onion and then one cheese patty.  7. Then place the middle bun on top and add some sauce to this. Add the lettuce, red onion and then the other cheese patty.  8. Spread the remainder of the sauce on the top bun and place on top.
