(last edit) So our Champion Trophy campaign ends here. Zero intent zero match awareness, and playing for themselves, not for the nation. For the past six years, we’ve been making the same mistakes. We don't have proper ODI batters or proper ODI bowlers; they’re all just below-average, overhyped players. They don’t understand that the country comes first, but instead, they play selfish innings for money and fame. Even Zimbabwe is better than Pakistan, at least they put effort into the field. Pakistan depends on Babar, Rizwan, Fakhar, and Shaheen, but that’s not how cricket works. We lost Babar because of captaincy; he lost his confidence, but at the end of the day, he showed how these below-average players can perform well. Most of them don't even deserve a place in gully cricket. While the rest of the world is playing modern cricket, we’re stuck playing tuk-tuk cricket. We don’t have modern batters; even if we have them, we didn’t select them due to some clowns in the PCB. Our cricket is dying. The Pakistan cricket team needs to understand that playing your A game in series doesn't matter. You’re exposed in Icc events because you’re a below-average team. Scoring against c teams, taking wickets of youngsters, and beating them doesn’t make you Australia or India. We always compare ourselves to India, but they consistently defeat us in one-sided matches. Yet these players don’t have the shame to improve. Babar doesn't learn from his mistakes, and Shaheen doesn’t know how to bowl in the right areas. Rizwan needs to get out of 1990s cricket, Naseem needs to focus on cricket rather than impressing girls, and Haris Rauf needs to bowl line and length. You have pace, but you don’t know how to bowl and defend runs. We need to improve our fielding, stop leaking runs, and take catches. It’s so shameful that we’re losing as the host nation.
