To help Simbarashe may you please check our bio profile .Thank you so much for your kindness and for helping us to help Simbarashe and family. 04 June 2024 Simbarashe Dande mother thanking for the recent donations from well wishers such as Mr TC. Hope for Zimbabwe Children has been supporting Simbarashe and family since 2019 , five years ago . We took Simbarashe to South Africa He was discharged from South Africa hospital on 26/11/2019 where we took him for surgery funded by the Go fund me appeal. He arrived in Zimbabwe with his father on 27/11/2019 as surgeons failed to do the second surgery following the botched first surgery . He was placed under palliative care. On behalf of the Dande family , I would like to thank you all wholeheartedly for helping us to fund Simbarashe's journey from Murehwa , Zimbabwe to South Africa in January 2019, the stay in South Africa, the expenses incurred along the way home and away, the journey back to Zimbabwe on 26/11/2019 and the current situation . Simbarashe's father arrived at his homestead in Zimbabwe with Simbarashe on the morning of 27/11/19 having been officially discharged from hospital on 26/11/19 . We visited the family on 27/11/19. While in South Africa the tumour failed to respond to more chemotherapy and the medical team failed to proceed with further treatment and the second surgery because they could not trace the pathway of the tumour etc for them to proceed with the second surgery . This is because during the first surgery , the operating surgeons made certain medical mistakes and because of this the lesion (tumour) became untraceable . They did some more scans after the first surgery hoping to find the pathway to no avail. I shared an update to this effect sometime back highlighting the challenges faced after the first surgery and how the medical team were blaming each other for the medical mess. Simbarashe is still using a breathing tube ( traschetomy) inserted in South Africa .The tube was supposed to be removed after the second surgery but since the medical team failed to do the second surgery they could remove the tube as this is supporting Simbarashe to breathe. Hope for Zimbabwe children would like to sincerely thank the South Africa medical team for all the effort. Our hearts are heartbroken but not bleeding because we still have hope and also your moral and financial support keep us going as we face the challenges. The challenges are definitely eased because of the financial support. #hopeforzimbabwechildren #motivationalvideo #motivationalprayer #murehwa #simbarashedande #cancer #familytime#thankyou#murehwa #helpforsickchildren #charitywork #bekind #thankyou #zimbabwetiktok #fundraising
