Why do we need a valid reason to read audiobooks? I’m a busy working mom and enjoy listening to audiobooks while I work, clean, chauffeur my kids around etc! All reasons are valid!

I fell into audiobooks real hard this year. They enable me to still enjoy the books when I’m busy doing everything else in my life, chores, family stuff, driving, etc.

Since getting covid the first time, I have to listen to audio because physical reading hurts & makes me tired. Audio has been an absolute sanity saver. I'm glad it's helped you too. 💜

I’ve found certain genres I prefer to read physical, other genres I prefer audiobook. But my husband thinks I’m a crazy person when my audiobook connects to the car at 2x speed 😅

1x speed feels like they are reading backwards 😂😂😂 my son is reading Harry Potter on my kindle while he is listening right now on 1x speed and whenever I flip it back to my book it makes my eyes twitch at how slowwwwww. 😂

I’ve also been getting into audio book lately.. it helps me do the chores I don’t like (wash dishes, cook after a long day, etc) best hack I’ve found to do it

I have had two miscarriages this year and I agree. Audiobooks really saved me because sitting down and focusing on the words of a physical book was not something I could do

Audiobooks are SUCH amazing ways to have an immersive reading experience. I loved the ACOTAR graphic audios. I’m dyslexic, but I can read- a good audios with good VAs change how you imagine the story
