My new landlord came on November 5th and told us December 1st he was raising our rent over 300 bucks plus we had to now pay water bill. That was $500 extra in bills due in less than 30 days🤦🏾♀️.

in Kenya you keep forgiving tenants their monthly rent ..sometimes you even give them food and helo them get back to their feet..rent issues is not a matter of laws ..it's humanity

When visiting Japan I didn't have enough yen for lunch & offered to pay with a card. The owner said it was fine to return in a few days when I collect enough yen for the meal. 🥺 I paid the next day

after living in Egypt for 11 years with a wonderful landlady who not only fixed things quickly, but told me hang on to the summer rent in case I needed it when in the states😳 and she lowered my rent

In South Africa you are not allowed to place people on the street. You have to give them first three months notice and the three months end then are you only allowed to go to court and get an eviction
