No matter how old you are, nobody should tell you “You’re old and there’s nothing you can do”. There should be something he can do to piddle the time away. I would rather be dead than this.

My 90 year old father has dementia. Don’t you try to give him activities—puzzles, activity books etc. my father enjoys passing time like that.

I’ve worked memory care and I understand it gets extremely frustrating to repeat the same thing over and over day after day. Telling him he’s always hungry and that getting old is boring 😬
