This is “Ribbed Slab” not beam-block slab. Not only for poor people or done in poor area. It’s economical and reduce load on foundation especially in areas with poor soil strata

This is solid as a rock, no leaks at all. Also this is an alternative to concrete slabs or pouring concrete when building a floor slab of a double storey building, it's not an outside roof.
