As a child who was a victim, I cannot say this enough. IF YOU DONT HAVE THE CONVERSATION, THE CHILD WILL NOT FEEL SAFE TO TELL YOU. They will carry it alone.

Nobody ever gave me this information as a child and it happened to me. I promise you would rather feel a little uncomfortable talking to your kid about this and explaining it to them than watching

I was a criminal investigation transcriptionist, & often had to do the verbatim interviews with kids. This confuses them greatly & they often may not report b/c of that &kknowing it's wrong.

My daughter loves kisses and I’ve had to tell her that we don’t kiss certain areas because she will try to kiss my butt 🤣 I feel like it’s logical to have that in there.

I absolutely know kids that have had similar things happen to them before they could even understand it wasn’t ok. It wasn’t until years later they knew it was SA when by then they couldn’t report
