I haven't had any for quite a few years. And at one time had to go to the hospital, and all hospitals have finacial aid if you qualifying at the time I did. Which I did not really want to use but had no choice. I did not pay a thing for being in there or for the procedure. Although I know it was paid by donations, so thankful that that was available, and hope I never have to go again. Only the 2nd time ever being in the hospital in 62 years, 1st time was to have my child.

I had a gallbladder removal surgery recently without insurance. they sent me $60,000 bill but reduced it to $5,800 for cash payment.

I’m insured by United Healthcare. I’ve never used my insurance for prescriptions because they’re DOUBLE the cost than if I use my GoodRx card. That I got in the mail. For free.

We do self-pay for my toddlers pediatrician. We pay about $150-$200. 2x a year. As opposed to the $400/months + $50 copay & $16,000 family deductible lmao

💯!!! My hubs and I got rid of our health ins too. We also put the $1000/month that we were spending on insurance in a separate account for “health care” which includes ordering our own labs, out of pocket care, chiropractor and massage therapists, etc.
