@dietitian_kristin: Cholesterol is always such a heated topic. The answer is that too little can be harmful, too much can be harmful, and different treatments work for different conditions. There is not a universal truth. #nutrition #cholesterol #animalbased #keto #carnivore #nutritiontip #health #allfoodsfit

Being a healthcare worker in these times is literally like teaching critical thinking on top of trying to do our jobs

I took a nutrition class a while ago, I remember learning that dietary cholesterol doesn’t really increase LDL cholesterol, it’s more saturated fats than anything else, is that true?

My friend is vegan, has been for years, and she still has high cholesterol because of genetics. Like it’s not one size

I’m fascinated by the ketones/alzheimer’s/carbs/diabetes connection. I wouldn’t complain if you did some videos on this; just saying, not even requesting. (And you tagged me so I wouldn’t miss them😂)

It’s almost like nutrition is extremely nuanced and affects everyone differently based on genetics, lifestyle and environment. Crazy.

also like. all treatments have risks. you can be treating one disease (Alzheimer's, epilepsy) and increasing risks of another (CV). like. that's a thing.

also doesn't dietary cholesterol have a minimal impact on our blood cholesterol levels? aren't fiber intake, exercise, and genetics/family much more indicative of cholesterol problems?

Like, literally everything about nutrition is balancing things so you get the right amount. Extreme diets that cut out/over indulge in one thing (without professional guidance and limitations) are bound to mess with you down the line
