I’m an operating room nurse and we have a “tube day”. It’s super quick! Like 5 minutes of actual “surgery”. I tuck them in, they breathe in a little gas and it’s done!

It’s such a quick surgery!! My boy had tubes put in around 1 then a second time around 2.5 years old the second surgery was also an adenoidectomy. The recovery after was so quick for the tubes he was

Coming from somebody who had so many ear infections as a kid please do the tubes. Every time to this day that a doctor looks in my ears they always tell me how much scar tissue I have in there.

My wee dude had grommets put in at 15 months and his speech took off. The whole thing took 15 minutes and there’s was zero recovery afterwards. No regrets at all

My now 2.5yo had grommets put in at the beginning of this year at 18 months! He had moderate hearing loss due to the non-stop ear infections. We ended up opting for grommets (what we call them in Au)

Best decision we ever made! My son ended up getting them when he was about 1.5 years old and now he's almost 8 and never had a problem since then!!! He doesn't really get sick anymore!

3 out 4 of my kids had laryngomalacia and 2 have tubes! Tubes are easy and make a huge difference! Good luck!
