I love this. My parents wouldn’t really let me be around them as I got older. I still had to do anything and everything my sister was doing. Which I love her but I also needed some adult bonding 1/2

we avoided the pre-teen scaries w/ my bonus daughter! until she hit 14🥲 but it only lasted 6 months & she out grew it! she’s amazing! we are so close but i think its also bc we are 12 years apart

My DD and I are really close and we didn’t go through that. She’s almost 18 so maybe it’s coming 😆 We are Best Friends. She has a great group of 3 BFFs her own age but when she’s free she’s with me.

Same! My 13yr old daughter is my bestie too and wants to be with me 24/7 also. I don’t speak to my mother for 4 years now and never had a good relationship with her so I am proud of our relationship.
