I feel like this describes me too except I have stage 4 cancer, I have anticipatory grief. I’m so sad about what I will miss out on when I die. I have 3 young children that I want to see grow.

Actually the sadness increases when ur happy. It’s almost like a guilt that we r happy but so sad that they r not there with us. Grief is a life of sadness, even when happy 😞

One of my favorite moments from the show This is Us is when Rebecca is describing grief. She says how every moment for the rest of her life, no matter how happy, will always be tinged w/ sadness. 💔
