I agree with being in the military SFC. MOS specific 👎🏽, should serve at minimum 7-10 years, be an NCO, and at least have gone through both BLC and ALC. Leader should know how to lead properly 👍🏽

I served 7yrs combat arms. I don't think it's necessary for the President. They have the Generals and Officers to help them make choices and really they are just making the choice

The whole point of the commander in chief is to have civilian control of the military. It prevents the USA from being turned into a military state. It should not be a requirement.
