That’s the same heat setting I use the key to a great silk press is the prep. Wash your hair 2X with a clarifying shampoo then 1x with a hydrating shampoo. Then detangle with a rinse out conditioner.

Some of my favs for a silk press are the Kenra blow dry spray, Amika the wizard spray & blockade serum, Olaplex No 9 serum. All of these have heat protection in them so you’re definitely protected
