No way one man is pulling a cab in a hour, maybe 3 guys. Also if you need to pull a cab for a head gasket…..you need a different job

So it adds 2 hrs of work average rate around me is $85 an hour or so for decent work, better quality sounds like a deal to me

I agree, as a 3 year technichian I can get a cab off in an hour and a half to 2 hours depending on application. Quality of repair is definitely better

Cab pull the world 😂 we wrote a 3rd gen cab removal procedure a while back.. I still swear they’re easier than the comparable Ford. You guys nailed it on the head. Repair confidence is 10x when (1/2)

im old enough to remember mechanicing before any of this cab lifting nonsense was a thing. those were the days. imagine designing a vehicle to be serviceable.

So the real question is how much extra is being charged if it only takes an hour to pull a cab? Is the customer seeing a labor price increase or decrease from your time savings?
