worst part is chess isn't going to grow with Gukhes as champ. He has very toxic online fan base and that's not his fault. This wasn't a high view tournament and I fear it's a trend that will stay.

I'm fairly confident we're in a time where the world champion will change at every cycle. Neither Gukesh or Ding are dominant like Magnus. Fabi, Nepo, even Hikaru have a shot until either Magnus comes back or somebody else rises.
