I had a 78 (first year) and 79 both XE and almost bought a GT. They were better on acceleration but not top speed unless you tinkered with the motor. Handling was awesome though! I MISS MINE

Almost identical to my '78 Chrysler Cordoba, especially the interior. I loved that car, was beautiful inside and out, and it could go 100 mph with ease with its 400 cid v8, 4 barrel carb
