We did 3 rounds of IUI and medicated cycles. They weren’t successful however I wouldn’t have been able to feel good about making the decision to do IVF if we didn’t try. IVF is such a financial strain

We are likely doing IUI here soon, it is reasonable to try it to me. We can not afford IVF. We are praying for God’s will in our journey to be parents🙏🏼

I don’t regret doing IUI.. but unfortunately after 3 IUI’s we moved onto IVF. So glad it worked for you though! IVF is so hard 😩

I’ve had 3 failed IUIs (TWW with 4th) and still don’t regret it. It’s allowed me to ease in, know what I respond to, etc. IVF is hard and is last resort for us.

We got successful on our 2nd IUI round. I went in telling my doctor I’m not doing IVF because I don’t do hormones well and we went from there. 28wks on Saturday with twins!

Unexplained fertility & clinic strongly pushed IVF due to 10% chance with IUI. Had a gut feel IUI could work for our issue and went against drs recommendation. Successful first IUI & now 19 weeks 🩵

Yes girl! 👏🏻 We did the same thing and got lucky with IUI 💕 I always tell people to listen to their doc’s and if they recommend it then do it!

My ins covers unlimited IUI (85% of the cost) but only 3 IVF cycles (only covers the medicine). Yeah I’ll stick to IUI 😅😭 once I feel like I mentally can’t do anymore IUI we’ll switch to IVF. 😩

I only did iui for the cost. Unfortunately didn’t work. The cycle after got pregnant naturally. Everyone’s path is so different! Glad it work for you!

My husband has MFI, and that’s the only issue. If he has enough sperm, we are going to try a medicated cycle with IUI. Waiting on the next SA. IVF would be around 15K for us.

Only option for us is ICSI due to hubbys azoospermia, but I would’ve preferred IUI if that was possible! We’re on our first round and my mental health is 👎🏻 just trying to survive lol

We were told last month when our IUI was canceled due to low count & zero motility that IVF would be our only option. I’m 4+3 weeks pregnant. There’s always hope! We were going to try IUI again in Jan

This is true! I personally went straight to IVF in order to batch and freeze embryos for future use with my (then) young eggs as we know we want a few kids, but I know many who did IUI with success 💖
