I think the worst part is just laying back in the shampoo bowl. I always just tell the stylist that I can’t lay flat for long and that it’s uncomfortable, and they are always super understanding!

Omg sister! So at part time lover salon they don’t have those honorable sinks that hurt your neck with the dip, they have cushion ones that slope down your whole back so no pain!!! Here in Nash!

This is definitely a valid fear! I’m always a little anxious when I go to the hair salon cause of my head. If you go somewhere I would have a good conversation with your stylist about your worries.

Maybe look at a mobile hairdresser who can come to you? I do that and it’s helped so much!! Way less overstimulating and you wash your own hair as well (so no bowl against neck)
