@quicksandflooring: This floor used to be a lot lighter and not orange! It has started to wear through from all the damage.. Let’s get restoring! First up is the BIG MACHING belt sander - always the most satisfying part! Next we will go around the edges of the room with a smaller sander called THE EDGER. Then we move onto scraping the corners getting rid of every last bit of orange.. After this we punch and fill every single nail. Now we coat! Using a water based polyurethane here by Blanchon (made in France). Going in with 2 x coats of Iceberg to get that light, natural look. Followed by 1 coat of Intensiv in an Invisible sheen mixed with a hardener to make it extra durable. Just beautiful!
