2% Here. I do somewhat agree. I'm cautiously optimistic, I've learned to expect mediocre at best when it comes to DC films, which admittedly does make the good hit harder for me.

I think Superman is going to be fantastic. Guardians is my favorite marvel trilogy. that being said, Gunn has some hang ups in his directing that could hold Superman back slightly if not careful.

That's incorrect. James Gunn got superman because he was inspired to do superman. He got control of DC because of GOTG. He's stated that he didn't think he could do it, but on the search for someone

I think it'll be a good movie, but I'm not sure it's one we'll remember or carry with us, for good or for bad. Even Snyder's we carry with us because of how gloriously he failed at the characters.
