We had something similar go on, new lpg Combi installed, gas valve was faulty! We did try sort it ourselves by adjustment, but had to get glow worm out to sort it. Straight out of the box!

He wired the thermostat incorrect and blew the PCB. the boiler switch terminal 24v he must have slapped 240

fitted a 418 today. had exactly the same. dead PCB. Vaillant booked for tomorrow. PCB was whining, heated the PCB with a hair dryer till it was to hot to touch. it then started to work
