I totally understand your feelings, but I agree with the comment regarding needing to recover from your egg retrieval. I NEEDED those few weeks and in the grand scheme of things it was 100% worth it

we always joke that my 5 month old doesn't like the cold cause he was frozen for so long. he was only frozen for 3 weeks until transfer 😂

I get it but trust me, the recovery after egg retrieval is needed. I got 37 eggs and I was miserable for about a week. Couldn’t imagine a fresh transfer

I was sad I couldn’t either! But they fail a lot, so I saved time and 💔 by just waiting. If you don’t do PGT, and trigger w Lupron only, your period starts 6-7 days later!

The recovery was needed after my ER. I also highly highly recommend getting the embryos tested - it can save so much heartache. 🥲

As someone who had a lot of eggs retrieved I couldn’t imagine doing a fresh transfer. I was in SO much pain for 10 days post retrieval

When my fresh transfer was cancelled I was so sad. We wanted to be pregnant 4 years ago 😩 but OHSS is no joke. You need to be healthy to grow those little babies!! You got this!

I found this out at my egg retrieval, that news plus the hormones didn’t go well but also I was in so much pain with the amount of eggs I guess they knew what they were talking about 😅

I didn't find out til the day of my egg retrieval that we were doing frozen! the plan the entire time up to it was doing fresh! I cried!

I totally get it, it sucks to have to delay your plans too. I ended up with “the worst case of OHSS” my Dr had seen in years, had to be hospitalized and have a paracentesis to drain the fluid so I could BREATHE after collecting 26 eggs and then we couldn’t do a transfer for 3 more months while waiting for my ovaries to return to normal size. It was the worst. But then I ended up pregnant with twins 2 transfers later so it was worth the wait💕

Higher success rates with frozen and also best to let your body heal after retrieval and get back to 100% before transfer! 💕
