Last I was in Kenya was in 1984 to visit my grandfather who was a colonial officer. We still have a ranch in Laikipia. My brother and his family lives there. I think I'll visit soon.

I have seen a documentary by CNBC (it's like 1 week old) with the mall crisis in USA where developer are turning them to living spaces I think it's a global crisis

The current government is intentionally killing middle class because they were the loudest opponents. And middle class were biggest social and recreational spenders locally. There are no winners here

This malls were not built with the expectation that the middle class is growing or the economy is growing. They are there to clean dirty money. Same thing with Apartments in Kileleshwa and Kilimani.

Also another issue is distance I've never been to waterfront and Galleria because of how far they are. I can go to Sarit which is like 15 minutes
