Girl same. This year alone our washer went out, water heater had a fit. Furnace went out and a main line sewer clog.

Make sure to run the garbage disposal like every other week! Mine would stop working when I’d be gone for a month or so at a time and cause water to back up in my dishwasher

It’ll be worth it in the long haul! I don’t blame you tho, old houses are such a pain. we had to have all our plumbing redone when we first moved in because SEWER water backed up into our house💁🏼♀️
