most English speakers don't hear the difference betw aspirated and unaspirated consonants. When we say "poke" the p makes a puff of air, but not the p in "spoke. Indian consonants p, t, k - no puff!

I've found that in south africa (afrikaans) it's very easy to get the pronunciation right- I think because of the indian influence on the language. Still very cool to see so thank you! 😁
