there are gridfinity generators now where you can measure and have a plate generated tht will have an expanded lip to fit perfectly

the drawers on my ikea one also don't come out this far, the worst thing is if something falls behind the drawers and you have to unscrew the bottom drawer to get to it😩

is there a way to just extend the back one to make the long? like they're 8x4 rectangles instead of 4×4 squares? so you can store long things under the lip?
