undereye makeup is underrated. speaking as someone with very deep set eyes and sensitive skin (I'm not "allowed" to make mistakes and try again if I mess anything up, only got one chance)

keeping my eyes open when i make the wing really helps if you have hooded or deep set eyes. if you close your eye and then make the wing, the lid might cover or smudge the liner

and colours in general should be played around with! I personally use more brown and purple eyeshadow like puce but there are plenty of goths that have used bright colors and avoid black all together
