QUESTION!! Why do spy drones have lights? Surely they don't need a light to see where they are going. Lights are usually to let other air traffic know you there, but why not be blacked out if u a spy?

Airline pilot here, that is literally a Boeing 777 by the looks of the lights. Nothing weird about this at all. 3 fixes white position, 2 red beacon, 1 red & 1 green position, and white strobe lights.

last year in Nj I was walking my dog. I look up and out of nowhere 10 crafts flew in formation above the tree line. No lights no sound. I wouldn’t have known they were there if I wasn’t looking up.
