@610stompers: The 610 Stompers are an all-male dance group trying to get ordinary men off their couches and on to the dance floor. Co-founded in 2009 by ‘Slab’, right before the Saints historic run to win their first Super Bowl, the 610 Stompers were launched out of a cannon and into the spotlight. The moves displayed in our first two parades, the Buddy D parade and the Saints Super Bowl Victory parade garnered national attention and mesmorized thousands. We’ve went on to participate in countless Mardi Gras parades, Saints, Pelicans, and Cleveland Cavaliers halftime shows, 3 appearances in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and parades in Kentucky and Wisconsin. We’ve donated our dance moves, and thousands of dollars to countless local non profits as part of our charity “Stompers Give Back”. We also host several huge events throughout the year to celebrate our love of dance. Our Stompers tryouts held every two years, and our yearly 610 Debutante Ball and 610 Ball Crawl are unforgettable experiences for all who attend. Whether dancing down St. Charles Ave. or on the 50-yard line in the Superdome, we are unified in love for our beloved New Orleans.
