i had a cleft lip repair as an infant as well. i think the annoying part for me was my parents treated it like it was only a visual issue. and never addressed other issues that came with it.

I had a cleft pallet! my parents said it was very scary because I couldn’t latch like you said. I got many ear infections as well but I didn’t have a cleft lip, so maybe he won’t have it
