When your mind races, don’t fight it. Instead, label each thought briefly—“planning,” “worrying,” “remembering.” This activates the prefrontal cortex, helping you detach from the thought and calming the mind.
Bonus: Pair it with box breathing—inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 4, hold for 4. It anchors you while the labeling keeps you present without overwhelm.

3- out x3sec & hold again 3sec. (Box breath) or do a guided meditation on YouTube to help keep ur mind focused. The goal is not to have no thoughts just to slow them down/ more space between them xxx

Haaaay meditation teacher here 🥰 Try to journal for like 10 mins before meditating so u can try & get some excess junk out of the head. Then if you struggle with closing the eyes down light a candle

I sleep with deep brown noise (any 8-10hr one from YT), turn it up loud and I swear it’s the only thing that helps me turn my brain off. That plus a good morning medi is 🤌🏾

Meditation looks different for everyone luv don’t give yourself a hard time . It’s supposed to be enjoyable and you can do it for 5 min everyday , Since my brain is really active I love to do a “ wild mind watching “ it’s a more playful meditation. OR you can do thought labeling

Not traditional but I use VR (meta quest) has a few meditation/relaxation apps on it. Great if you can’t switch off completely
