I managed to get about 3 or 4 Cs on my transcript and even a D my final year (Dad died) still managed to get in a grad program that was fully funded now getting my PhD. If you have lower grades always just explain. Most people are understanding

Most aren’t going into highly specialized fields that need more schooling past Bachelors

You compensate for a low GPA with work experience. I had a 2.91 GPA but was accepted into an M.Ed program 4 years after graduating because I had an impressive CV :)

Not all the time hun! Some schools have "conditional admission". That is how I was able to get into my graduate program.

I’m an attorney, my gpa started with 2. I didn’t go to a top tier law school but there’s still hope for people with Cs.

I wanted to get a masters but in my career field it’s useless you’ll get paid more with certifications than a masters 😭 I’m in IT I’m making $65 a hr wfh at my internship currently

The interpretation would be if you have a desire for a degree higher than a BA/BS (like an MA/MS, PhD, JD), a 2.0 GPA isn’t enough. Aim higher. Not sure how y’all misconstrued that.

it also depends on the major. For engineering majors in the upper classes sometimes you are glad to at least get a c.You can make a good living with BS in engineering, no grad required

Didn’t do grad school. Failed out of college my first time and had to go to a community college for an associates then reapply to my college to finish my bachelor. Pulling in US $160k a year now.
