@sunnycoastsnakecatchers: What we thought would be a quick and easy catch, turned into an hour of carefully cutting this thick bird cage wire in order to take this little guy to the wildlife hospital. Unfortunately the snake didn’t realise he wouldn’t quite fit all the way through one of the gaps, and completely wedged his body, tearing a few scales and squeezing him quite tight. Once he was taken to the wildlife hospital, it was the worry of whether or not they’d be able to safely cut him free without damaging more scales, and they did!
