She probably has allergy to chicken, beef,,, my Maltese had the same until I changed her diet. No chicken, beef… only organic food. Give duck, rabbit, salmon, grass fed beef etc.

She MIGHT have dental issues or other mouth conditions but I personally think it’s just allergies (might be environmental) coming from someone who has a Maltese

I also have a maltipoo who had the same issue and the best thing to do is go to the vet and pay for them to do blood work so you will know EXACTLY what she’s allergic to. It’s pricey but it’s so worth it because there’s no more guessing what she can or can’t eat

You have the same type of dog, same issue my dog had. It’s not the water. It you feed anything cooked only turkey, don’t feed any foods with chicken as the first protein source including treats.

we stopped giving our dog grains. went grain free and it helped him alot. try probiotics.

so,i have maltese and i had the same problem with Rocky,but the lady groomer said to me about the Contrex water from S/M for one mounth,i did it and it's okey,now it drink filter water from glass

I have the same problem...filtered water, stainless steel bowls...no chicken as she's allergic...her itching has stopped but she still has a red mouth

Try a Brita filtered water. Bottled water is not necessary

Try to clean it with a sensitive shampoo and the eyes with Some cooked ( cold) water . And choose for hypoallergene food. Good luck!

Please no stainless steel bowl ceramic is better. My dogs have allergies too and unfortunately it takes 6-8 weeks for allergic reaction stop once you stop feeding them what they are allergic too.
