The 🔑 with clicking shoulders is to improve your shoulder stability! To improve shoulder stability, closed chain exercises are a great place to begin, this means your hand is on the floor. You will not only get good proximal activation of the entire pillar (hips and core), but also a strong co-contraction of the shoulder girdle and rotator cuff musculature. Closed chain exercises also provide good feedback to make sure you are conscious of your scapula engagement. You will notice these exercises will challenge your shoulder in numerous planes of motion, which is what is required to ultimately improve shoulder stability.
