if mum has the kids the majority of the time then that limits her work, dad has to help financially support the children, so if dad is only every other weekend then yes needs to help financially

A lot of these comments saying dad should pay this…. What about when the payments aren’t equal? We pay £400 for one child and she pays £24pm for 2 children here 🤣 literally paying for both homes.

You cannot take someone to court to make then have the kids longer I.e 50:50 I tried that I can’t force custody can only go to court to take it away x

Maybe discuss the dads who don’t collect the kids when they’re meant to and the mums then need to either miss work or find childcare last minute

We have 50/50 plus financially responsible for all extra curricular activities and we still pay £200 p/m to birth mum. she works but cash in hand so on benefits but withdraws access if challenged 😟

50/50 also doesn’t work for so many though , I don’t mind doing 50/50 .1 he doesn’t want too and 2 my kids go to school and there’s dad lives 40mins away and won’t do the school run

Single mums also get either free childcare or tax free childcare where they can claim 85% back. Dads don’t get that. It’s just another excuse to get more money off the bloke!
