Well said!! Here in Canada we pay taxes so that everyone has access to healthcare and I’m 100% OK with that! I would pay more taxes to pay our doctors and nurses more money. They are worth it!

UK here. I spent 3 months in hospital including 2 weeks in ICU in a coma and 2 operations. Cost to me at point of care = zero. In America I’d be filing for bankruptcy

if you get sick in Australia, your health care is covered by the government. you can't choose your Dr though, unless you have private health insurance, but who cares if you're really sick right?
