Higher protein feed for your chickens! Poulin layer crumb/pellets are great or even the egg production plus is higher protein.

It’s the daylight hours needed for eggs. Would have to add artificial light on a timer to help with eggs

Chickens won't lay in the winter without light. We don't supplement light in our coop we give them the winter off. They’ll pick up laying again as soon as the day start getting longer.

Do you have a light on a timer on them? Not a heat lamp, but a light that extends their daylight length. Mine is extended from mid October through April
