Meet Zorro, our sweet and smart boy who’s been with us since 2021, patiently waiting for a loving home. 🐾 Despite all the love and care he receives here, nothing compares to the warmth of a real home—and Zorro hasn’t felt that in so long. At 6 years old, Zorro is people-friendly, though he has struggled to make dog friends. He has selectively befriended female dogs but those are far and few between. He’s eager to please and incredibly intelligent, knowing a wide range of commands like sit, stay, come, paw, spin, roll over, and more. He’s also crate-trained, keeps a clean space, and is even housebroken. Zorro is an active and adventurous pup who enjoys being in nature, long walks, car rides (he’s quite the gentleman!), and, of course, cuddles with his favorite humans. He thrives with positive reinforcement training and would make the perfect companion for someone ready to meet their best friend. 🎄 Our hope is to find Zorro his perfect match before Christmas—we know they’re out there!
