I use to work at petco to clean them and let me tell you I get tired but never I didn’t change there water but some employees would clean it and just dump them back in there container

Yeah anytime I get one from there I gotta treat it for fin rot☹️at the point where I just get betta fix when I get the fish. The one I have now is living the life:) and is healed from fin rot:)

As a PetSmart employee, it varies from store to store, but please know most associates do care. But ALWAYS report this kind of abuse because it means someone isn’t doing their job properly

The funny part is when I adopted mine she told me the recommended tank size is 5 gallons so I asked her why they were in cups and she was speechless 🤷🏻♀️

they legit could do so much better for like barely anything. Ex: I have quarantine tank - $10 plastic bin (3ish gallons), a like $12 filter and a heater that’s somewhere around $15… they COULD do it
