Griffith is the absolute worst. A narcissistic, manipulative, power hungry pretty boy who threw away the best people in his life like they were nothing. He had everything, loyalty, admiration, real love, and he crushed it all because his fragile ego couldn’t handle not being in control for five minutes. He watched his comrades suffer, bleed, and die for his dream, and the second things didn’t go his way, he sold them all to literal demons. He didn’t just backstab them, he fed them to monsters while smiling. And don’t even mention what he did to Casca. There’s a special place in hell for that scene alone. He acts like this untouchable savior, but he’s just a coward wrapped in armor and delusion. The fact that he keeps getting praised in the world of Berserk is infuriating. Every time he appears, it’s like the story dares you not to scream. He’s the kind of villain who’s so cruel and calculated, you can’t even enjoy hating him you just want him gone. He’s not tragic. He’s not misunderstood. He’s just the embodiment of betrayal and the reason half the fandom needs therapy.

but, if there is one thing i can do for them, for the dead, it is to win and keep winning until I attain my dream. A dream they clung to and risked their life's for. I can't just step over the bones of the dead in order to realize it. My dream... my dream is already smeared with blood. I don't regret. griffith lowk was a good character, but him turning to femto turned him into an even better character.. Because you’re SUPPOSED to hate him. sure, hes done things that can definetly write his name in the deepest pits of hell where he should remain for eternity, but it also gave him a genuinely good character in terms of showing the ‘this guy is a horrible, evil person’ typa thing. Possibly the best at showing that.
