@fitnessonline.app: Competition burpee Burpees are a compound plyometric exercise commonly seen in crossfit. It is compound because it is a mini set of simpler exercises (push-ups, squats and jumps-ups), performed without interruption. It is plyometric because it increases explosive muscle strength, speed and endurance. The muscles that take the greatest load here are: • The quadriceps, the hamstrings, the buttocks and the calves. • The major pectorals and the triceps. • The deltoids. • The abdominals. Instruction • Starting position: lying on the floor with your elbows bent and your hands resting on the floor. • Perform a push up. • Jump up to a squatting position. • Use your explosive strength to jump up, with your arms stretched up. • Squat again and jump back into the starting position. Warning • Warm-up sufficiently before starting this exercise. • Do all of the individual exercises at the same tempo. • Use your explosive strength to jump up as high as possible. Make sure your breathing is calm and regular. #fitnesstips #fitnessmotivation #Fitness
