I went back and played Origins for the first time in over a decade and also chose city elf 😬 My brain had completely blocked this out and it was a shock to me all over again

The city elf path is DARK dark. Really shows the dichotomy of Thedas. One of the best written though, you get lots of interesting dialogue stuff later on! keep with it ❤️

I genuinely miss DAs inclusion of s*xual violence and trauma, from the elf origin, to the deep roads, awakening, and DA2, many stories dealt with it. I remember being so sad and scared as a kid lol

I usually only play an elf and a mage but the only play through I didn’t get super tired from (cause I really dislike the fighting mechanics) was when I played a castles dwarf. Loved that backstory.
