So a woman with a hysterectomy can get an ectopic pregnancy if she keeps her ovaries? I know it’s rare but can that be a possibility?

So, would they still get their period? or would pregnancy hormones mess that up despite then fetus being in the entirely wrong place?!

I had no idea a placenta could grow properly anywhere except inside the uterus 😭😭 that’s so wild. Glad they’re both alright!

does amniotic fluid just fill up the whole abdomen, or is it somehow contained within this one area? Are there "walls" separating organs? why don't I know anything 😅

Crazy dangerous. They’ve happened attached to the liver as well. As far as I know. Not surviveable.

The way I tell people that even a hysterectomy..unless they are removing ovaries and/or removing cervix...still has a chance of pregnancy..rare and ectopic..but still possible...

I'm just cringing thinking about the possibility of adhesions all throughout the abdomen, is this an unfounded fear? 😳
