I remember hearing a story of a poor woman in India who was pregnant, went into labor but baby wouldn’t come out. So she went home. Like 30 yrs later, her eldest son paid for the surgery to remove 1/2

So a woman with a hysterectomy can get an ectopic pregnancy if she keeps her ovaries? I know it’s rare but can that be a possibility?

The way I tell people that even a hysterectomy..unless they are removing ovaries and/or removing cervix...still has a chance of pregnancy..rare and ectopic..but still possible...

I scrubbed with a female obgyn in the usaf who csectioned two different women with full term babies outside uterus. Placenta was left to absorb
