I have done this to myself for years. I asked my pediatrician if I could do it to my kid and he was like uh heck yeah if you’re comfortable doing it please do. So they HATE it but it works.

my son hated it but he is 3 now and he wakes up in the middle of the night (when ill) and in the early morning and asks for it so he could breathe and then goes back to sleep 🙌

i remember having to lay my legs across my kids shoulders and arms to get them to hold still while i suctioned their snot (my oldest is 24) thats an impressive waterboarding technique lol
