@brie_matthews: Took your recommendations & stayed in there with him for a little. Ended up beinf 30 minutes & snuck our during snack time, but he would jot let go of me. Thankfully, it did the trick and he lasted a little longer than normal!!! Next time, we’re going to also bring his blankie!! ##motherhood##MomsofTikTok##momlife##sundaymorning

We had the same problem! Try dad getting him out of the car and walking in and dropping him off all without you. Worked for us after 2 times of doing that!

It’s okay. Remember this is a stage. He will grow out of it eventually and this will be a distant memory!

My kids act completely different when dad would do daycare drop offs vs when I do them. Maybe it will help if dad does it. But this was a huge improvement

I work in my church’s nursery with the toddlers, and when mom/dad just leave and the baby is upset, it’ll usually take less than 5 minutes and they are completely fine!! Now if you as the mom are (1)

You’re doing great! Keep trying with him and don’t give up! I’ve seen so many kiddos settle in with their teachers and become excited for church!

I have 2u2 and volunteer in our church nursery. Kids separation anxiety peaks between 12 and 18mo and then it gets so much better (1/2)

Try talking to him starting at home “we are gonna go to church today &you are gonna have so much fun” and then again in the car “we are getting in the car to go to Sunday school” & then at church 1/2

I used to volunteer in the nursery. They will usually bond to 1 person in the room first and it will take a few times for them to not cry and be comfortable with other people.

I work for the kids ministry, have dad take him and leave asap. The staff should know how to help him adjust and it will get better!!
